The Indiana Stock Show at the C BAR C Arena in Cloverdale, Indiana, has become one of our family's favorites on our show schedule. The proximity to home, and the time frame around our Middle L, Lynnly's birthday, makes for a great time to celebrate.
We filled our dance card with seven animals for the girls to show and rushed pretty hard to get every one of them ready but in the end, we had a great experience. "Stella" our Hired Hand yearling, continued her hot streak winning the Southdown breed, Senior Champion and being chosen fourth overall.

Landrey has competed in the show for four years now, and in three of the four, she has been lucky enough to be introduced in the champion drive. This year was the first time, she was in the front row and was also the first year she was selected top 5.
Lynnly showed “Socks” the Dorper, “Coral” our JFSS Hamp, and “Bambi” our new Hired Hand Southdown. “Bambi” was the youngest in her class, finished fourth with Lynnly almost beating he sister out for third.

Landrey also showed “Arrow” Oxford Wether that was called back for the Champion drive, “Ridley” Commercial ewe Top 5 in the class raised by Shafer Show Stock, and “Gemma” our Oldenburg ewe lamb third in class.
Landrey was Reserve in Showmanship for the division. Lynnly was third in her Showmanship division. Lachlan was awesome as usual!

We loved spending time with our show friends, swimming at the hotel, and shopping at all the vendor stores throughout the arena. The next stop for Landrey in the ring will be Aksarben, in Nebraska.
